Thank you for volunteering to maintain a band uniform closet. You will be responsible for maintaining the closet for the entire school year; this includes football, parade and concert season. If you are unable to maintain your closet, please let a board member know so we can find a replacement. This is a vital part in keeping our band members looking their best. Please follow the washing instructions on how the uniforms should be washed. Following these instructions will ensure a well maintained and clean looking uniform.
All uniforms are to be washed every other use unless circumstances call for them to be washed more often.
You will be issued a small repair kit. The kit will contain sewing needles, safety pins, navy blue, white and black thread, small and large crest buttons, and snaps. If you are in need of more supplies, please let a board member know and your kit will be replenished.
If the uniforms are in need of any repairs, such as buttons, snaps, hemming, etc., and you are not able to do these repairs, please let a board member know so we can make sure all repairs are taken care of before the next scheduled event.
Your volunteering is greatly appreciated and all band members will look their best at all times thanks to your efforts.
